Nuta Wins Twice At Fox Lake

Miami’s Louis Nuta Jr., making a tour of the summer motorboat racing circuit with his father, started his winning streak at Fox Lake, Ill., yesterday by sweeping both heats of the Class E racing runabout division.

Despite what Nuta Jr., termed “stiff competition,” he also managed to place his “Little Stinker” second in both heats of the unlimited Free-For-All division, being beaten in both heats by a Gold Cup racer of far greater power.

The Nutas will continue their tour for about another month, and after returning to Miami may complete their summer racing on the West Cost.
