Tahoe Regatta Set July 13th
Tahoe City, June 23—Commodore Rudolph Zimmerman of the Tahoe Yacht Club announced here today that the club will stage its annual regatta this year at Chambers Lodge on July 13th. A luncheon. to be followed by a meeting, will be held at Chambers on Saturday, June 28th. at 12:30. at which time plans will be discussed for the forthcoming regatta.
Zimmerman also announced added interest will be Injected into the races this season as it is expected that three boats to be entered in the Lake Tahoe Championship race will be capable of 100 miles per hour or more.
These boats will include entries by Henry J. Kaiser of Tahoe Pines, who has seven boats in the water this summer; R. Stanley Dollar, Jr„ who will enter a boat never before raced at Tahoe, and William Stead of Reno, who hopes to take home a few prizes with his speedster.
A large entry list is anticipated this year.

Tahoe Regatta is Set For Sunday
Tahoe City, Lake Tahoe — The Tahoe Yacht Club will stage its 1952 regatta Sunday at Chambers Lodge, with eight races scheduled.
The program will get under way at 9:40 AM. Judges will be Edwin Letts Oliver, Ollie Meek and George Lewis.
- 9 40 AM — 130 HP and under, stock displacement hulls, stock neglnes.
- 10 AM — 165 HP and under, stock displacement hulls, stock engines.
- 10:20 AM — Outboards, two events to race simultaneously, one for five and one half horsepower for drivers not over 13 and the other for 10 horsepower and under for drivers not over 16.
- 10:40 AM — 352 HP and under, 23 foot and longer stock displacement hulls, stock
- 11:00 AM — Women's championship. 200 HP and under, stock displacement hulls. stock engines.
- 11:20 AM — Lake Tahoe Championships, free for all.
- 11:40 AM — Relay race, open to all classes.
- 12 noon — Bang and go back, open to all classes.
